DESCRIPTION:Dear colleagues and friends\,\n\nOn behalf of the Organizing Co
 mmittee and the Albanian Society of Clinical Biochemistry &amp\; Laborator
 y Medicine it is my great pleasure and honour to invite you to the 24th Me
 eting of the Balkan Clinical Laboratory Federation and the 4th Albanian Na
 tional Conference of Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine\, which
  will be held on October 5-7\, 2016 in Tirana\, Albania.\n\nRapid technolo
 gical advances in laboratory medicine have also brought about a significan
 t change in the way of thinking about patient care. The closely-knit coope
 ration between laboratory medicine specialists and clinicians nowadays is 
 truly empowering this multidimensional field. This important scientific Ba
 lkan event\, successfully organized every year\, offers a highly professio
 nal discussion on new developments of the field. It brings us closer to tr
 ends and achievements in technology and scientific research.\n\nTirana is 
 the ideal setting for such a significant event. This city is a symbol of u
 rban culture\, located between sea and mountains\, preserving Illyrian\, R
 oman\, and Byzantine culture in an Oriental atmosphere\, sitting amongst E
 uropean elements as well as typical Mediterranean and Balkan ones.\nNowada

 xample of a city in constant evolution. It incorporates a mixture of struc
