DESCRIPTION:It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the 4th 
 McMaster International Review Course in Internal Medicine (MIRCIM)\, which
  will take place in the beautiful historic city of Kraków\, Poland\, on M
 ay 10–12\, 2018.\n\nMIRCIM has been conceived and developed by the McMas
 ter University Department of Medicine\, the birthplace of evidence-based m
 edicine (EBM) and problem-based learning (PBL)\, and the Polish Institute 
 for Evidence Based Medicine. It is organized in collaboration with Jagiell
 onian University Medical College and the Polish Society of Internal Medici
 ne in partnership with over 20 national societies of internal medicine fro
 m around the world.\n\nThe three-day course will be filled with informatio
 n-packed lectures delivered by an outstanding assembly of speakers who are
  world-renowned experts in their fields\, from authors of clinical practic
 e guidelines to researchers behind breakthrough trials that shape the mode
 rn standards in medicine. Our aim has been to deliver up-to-date and relia
 ble knowledge that is useful to general internists\, subspecialists\, hosp
 italists\, family physicians\, residents and fellows in training specializ
 ing in internal medicine – and we are proud to say that we have achieved
  this goal.\n\nThe lectures will be delivered on May 11 and 12. On the fir
 st day\, May 10\, the participants will be able to take part in the confer
 ence Clinical Cases in Internal Medicine: Learning Through Practice and to
  choose from a number of clinical workshops.\n\nThe course will take place
  in the ICE Kraków Congress Centre\, located conveniently in the city cen
 ter and close to Kraków’s famous tourist attractions. The time spent in
  Kraków during the course will offer a myriad of opportunities to experie
 nce the rich cultural life and remarkable heritage that the city boasts.\n
 \nIn 2017\, MIRCIM attracted almost 900 participants from 36 countries.\n\
 nThe participants highly praised the quality of lectures\, topic selection
