DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues\, Friends and Guests\,\n\nWe are delighted to i
 nvite you to Strasbourg for the 67th Congress of the European Society of C
 ardiovascular and Endovascular Surgery (ESCVS).\n\nThe ESCVS is the oldest
  society in Europe in the cardiac and vascular surgical field and was foun
 ded by René Leriche and R. Dos Santos in 1950. It has a strong tradition 
 of merging specialties to provide better care for patients. The Society is
  actively engaged in projects involving its young members\, to train them 
 and give them the experience and knowledge of new techniques and materials
 .\n\nIn 2018 we will be returning to Strasbourg\, where the first conferen
 ce of ESCVS was held. Strasbourg’s history is steeped in 2000 years of i
 nternational encounters\, thanks to its location in the heart of Europe. T
 he city of Strasbourg was the seat of some of the most important planning 
 for European post-war reconstruction and it is now home to several EU inst
 itutions\, including the European Parliament\, the Council of Europe and t
