DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends\, dear Colleagues\,\n\nIt is a great pleasure to i
 nvite you to the EAACI Congress 2019\, from 1-5 June\, and wish you a warm
  welcome to Portugal and to its multicultural and cosmopolitan capital\, L
 isbon.\n\nThe core framework of the congress will be the scientific progra
 mme\, which has been developed by a dedicated Scientific Committee\, based
  on the innovative proposals received from the global EAACI Membership and
  its multiple and dedicated working groups. Under the theme “Mapping the
  new world of allergy (towards precision medicine in allergy and asthma)
 ” the EAACI Congress 2019 in Lisbon will help all attending delegates an
 d participants to advance their knowledge and navigate the complex world o
 f today’s allergy and clinical immunology. In fact\, mapping allergen st
 ructure\, aerobiology\, disease endotypes\, biologicals\, as well as mappi
 ng genomics\, proteomics and metabolomics\, are today´s tools for a bette
 r understanding of allergic and immune disorders\, driving both basic scie
 nce and clinical practice towards precision medicine and personalized heal
 th care.\n\nThe congress venues\, Lisbon Exhibition and Congress Centre an
 d neighboring Altice Arena\, where EAACI has previously held successful me
 etings\, are located in one of the modernist central areas of Lisbon\, the
  Nations Park\, a 5 minutes’ distance from the international airport and
  walking distance to excellent accommodations for all budgets. The Lisbon 
 Airport has international connections to 105 destinations\; most are a 1-3
  hours’ direct flight to major European cities and 6-8 hours from the Am
 ericas.\n\nLisbon itself\, is a historic capital\, an amalgam of 900 years
  of cultural influences that mingle with modern trends and life style\, cr
 eating a multicultural\, cosmopolitan and tolerance feel to our visitors. 
 With a temperate climate and spread across seven hills\, always opening a 
 window towards astonishing light\, the Tagus river and the Atlantic breeze
 \, Lisbon is today one of the world´s best cities to live in and visit.\n
