The inaugural meeting was held at the University of Gla sgow in 1967 and we are delighted to welcome ESPN home to Glasgow. The con ference program is exciting and innovative and our theme is what have we l earned in the past 50 years and where will we go in the next 50 years? Wit h joint sessions with EWOPA and the renal nurses\, there is a packed and p lentiful program.\n\nSo join us to celebrate 50 years of the ESPN. Our wel come reception in the Glasgow Science Centre will allow participants to mi ngle and network amid the exhibits and enjoy splendid views over Glasgow a nd the River Clyde. We will use the evening to remember the early days of ESPN with photos\, footage of memories of the early meetings and memorabil ia.
