DESCRIPTION:It is an honour and a pleasure to extend to you\, on behalf of 
 the European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and the Europe
 an College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care\, a warm invitation t
 o the 17th annual European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Congress
  in Venice\, Italy.\n\nThe congress will take place from the 21th – 23rd
  June 2018\, and promises to offer a fantastic programme. The main theme o
 f the congress is “Straight to the heart”. It will be an exciting trip
  into the hemodynamic world and in the emergency and critical care of pati
 ents with cardiovascular disease and sepsis.\n\nThe program will offer par
 allel streams for veterinarians (refresher and advanced) and veterinary nu
 rses. Other interesting emergency and critical care topics will also be in
 cluded. Workshops and Labs will provide a practical approach to these emer
 gency and critical care patients. Posters and abstract sessions will give 
 you a taste of some of the most current research.\n\nThe Congress will be 
 held at the Lido of Venice\, a thin island that connects the Venice’s La
 goon to the Adriatic sea. The venue is “Palazzo del Casino” which is w
 orldwide famous for being every year in September the venue of the “Veni
 ce International Film Festival “.\n\nAlong with the opportunity to hear 
 what is new in many topics from highly regarded speakers\, the Congress wi
 ll offer you the chance to spend time in the exhibition hall with old and 
 new friends during a busy social program: the welcome reception\, toasting
  with ours famous Italian Spritz and the wonderful Gala Dinner where you c
 an have a taste of the famous Italian cuisine and its great wines.\n\nI ho
