DESCRIPTION:DEAR COLLEAGUES\,\n\nAcute catheter-based stroke interventions 
 have been proven to be superior to systemic lysis in large vessel occlusio
 ns in a number of randomized trials. With a number needed to treat (NNT) o
 f only 2\, acute stroke interventions are extremely efficient. Up to 10% o
 f acute strokes can and should be treated with catheter techniques.\n\nPle
 ase join us at ICCA STROKE\, March 20 – 21\, 2020 in Frankfurt\, Germany
  to see how to remove clots from the brain and make a real difference in t
 he life of your patients. We believe there is no other catheter interventi
 on you can perform with such a huge impact!\n\nDuring this 2-day course yo
 u will get an overview on all aspects of this treatment modality. Clinical
  studies will be covered\, and we will also demonstrate how to perform the
  procedure step by step during simulator trainings and how to prevent and 
 manage complications. Live case transmissions are a core of this course an
 d will allow direct attendee-operator interaction to maximize the learning

 heir ideas and experiences. ICCA Stroke 2020 will be an opportunity for yo

 ting is designed for interventionists from all fields specialising in acut
 e stroke intervention\, vascular surgeons\, neurologists and stroke physic

 deration for Interventional Stroke Treatments - WIST with the aim to ensur
