DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends and Colleagues\,\n\nOn behalf of the Organizing Co
 mmittee\, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 2nd International 
 Congress of Hypertension in Children and Adolescents (ICHCA) to be held in
  Warsaw\, Poland from to 24 – 26 May\, 2019. This follows a highly succe
 ssful 1st ICHCA Congress held in Valencia\, Spain in 2018. This was attend
 ed by 123 delegates from 46 countries emphasising the international flavou
 r of the congress. Attendance throughout the meeting was extremely high an
 d there was excellent interaction between speakers and delegates.\n\nHyper
 tension in children and adolescents has shown exponential growth in many c
 ountries throughout the world and there is a compelling need to address th
 is epidemic by promoting education\, research and scientific exchange. The
  Congress has been designed to provide an innovative and comprehensive ove
 rview of the latest research developments in hypertension in children and 
 adolescents that is relevant to both paediatric and adult internists\, car
 diologists\, nephrologists\, endocrinologists\, general practitioner\, pha
 rmacologists\, epidemiologists and scientists.\n\nWe plan to invite an int
 ernationally distinguished faculty of clinicians and scientists to take pa
 rt in this Congress. Papers will be presented in the form of plenary sessi
 ons\, symposia\, workshops\, oral presentations and posters\, and will inc
 lude outstanding scientific material that will be carefully selected by th
 e Scientific Abstract Review Committee.\n\nWe would like to encourage the 
 pharmaceutical and manufacturing industry to generously support the congre
 ss in this very important field of child and adolescent health.\n\nWe hope
  that you will enjoy the Congress and that your interaction with your coll
 eagues from many different countries will stimulate a creative exchange of
  ideas that will be personally rewarding. We also hope and trust that you 
 will enjoy your visit to the very historic and beautiful city of Warsaw in
