DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends and Colleagues\,\n\nOn behalf of the WSPID Board a
 nd the Local Organizing Committee it is my pleasure to invite you to the 1
 0th Congress of the World Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases (WSPID
 )\, taking place in Shenzhen\, China\, December 2-5\, 2017.\n\nWSPID was f
 ounded with the purpose of bringing together members of national and regio
 nal organizations in this specialty for an international congress. The con
 gress is unique in attracting leading experts in the field who address us 
 on the diversity of infectious disease topics relevant to both participant
 s coming from developing and developed countries.\n\nAs in previous years\
 , the meeting will cover aspects of infectious diseases in regions around 
 the world. Abstracts are still a key component of the congress and the pro
 gram has been planned to allow ample time for oral and poster presentation
 s.\n\nWe also invited you to take the opportunity and explore the beautifu
 l Shenzhen a modern metropolis that links Hong Kong to China's mainland. W
 hile the city does not have as many historical attractions as other famous
  cities in China\, it has created a number of excellent theme parks which 
 entertain while teaching visitors about China and the world. Shenzhen is a
 ttracting more and more Chinese and overseas tourists for its unique beaut
